Caitlin Morgan’s Christopher Kramer Participating in Captive Panel Discussion at Annual TMPAA Summit

The 16th Annual TMPAA Summit takes place in Scottsdale, Arizona, October 17-19, where attendees have access to 60 program carriers including London Markets, premier vendor services, reinsurance support, program development and distribution resources and networking opportunities with 800-plus program professionals. Caitlin Morgan Captive Services’ Senior Vice President, Business Development, Christopher Kramer, will be attending the event and participating in a panel workshop, “New Capital – New Opportunities, Captive and Other ART Options for Programs,” on Monday, October 17 at 2:00 pm.

The workshop is designed to provide attendees with an overview of captive insurance program structures and the opportunities available to program administrators in the Alternative Risk marketplace. Included during the panel discussion will be a brief overview of agency, association and member-owned captive programs; why a program administrator would want to form a captive insurance program; expanding current programs through a captive; development of new programs when the traditional marketplace is not a good fit; partnering with carriers, reinsurers and service providers to develop a captive program; and benefits and barriers of forming captive programs.

Chris brings his wealth of knowledge and experience in creating captive insurance and alternative risk solutions to the panel discussion at TMPAA. He has created captive solutions both in the U.S. and offshore, including in Bermuda, Barbados and Cayman. Chris develops and executes Caitlin Morgan’s strategic plans for assigned programs, including alternative risk and captives, and leads several of the firm’s expansion initiatives in professional, property and casualty insurance lines in diverse industries including healthcare, commercial and affinity-driven programs.
